PNG Ranked Very Low In Equality For Women!

What is that we do not know already! PNG was and is still very low in world ranking when it comes to equal opportunity for women in this country.

The statistics are very telling;

  • very low number of women enrolling in schools.
  • very few women in parliament.
  • women abused every day.
  • women abused by policmen while in their custory.
  • our MPs having several wives

We do not need high powered research to tell the world what is going. Anyone with can go out there and witness that is going on and write a report.

The recent report by AusAid is re-confirming what is known and further, is lowering the rank for PNG in the world ranking when it comes to providing equal opportunities for women in PNG.
