Thank you for visiting and new year’s greetings. In the coming months I will write about special issues affecting women and children in Pacific Island countries. I will also ask some of my friends to also write and I will post them here.

Priorities issues will be about HIV/AIDs, breast and cervical cancer, immunisation, literacy, domestic violence, gender descrimination and others. The list is probably too long. But as you may already realise I want to cover a broad range of issues but emphasis on how these issues affect health and welfare of women and chilren.

I will also profile women who have succeeded in the male dominated Pacific society. I will also profile advocates of women and child health and welfare issues in the Pacific.
